Responsibility Explained

Do AEO Zone Growth Partners Have to Close Sales?

No. The approved Growth Partner role is to identify a possible business need and make the introduction—not to present or close the solution.

Direct answer: Growth Partners do not conduct the technical presentation or close the prospect. After the introduction, AEO Zone handles evaluation, diagnostic analysis, recommendations, presentation, closing, technology, implementation, and fulfillment.

What “starting the conversation” means

A Growth Partner may ask a business owner whether challenges such as missed leads, inconsistent follow-up, visibility, repetitive work, reputation, revenue recovery, or funding deserve attention. The partner should not diagnose the company or promise that a particular product will fix the problem.

The handoff

  1. The partner recognizes a potential need.
  2. The partner obtains permission to make an introduction.
  3. The partner connects the business with AEO Zone through the approved process.
  4. AEO Zone takes responsibility for the business conversation and solution process.

Why the roles are separated

The separation lets Growth Partners focus on relationships while AEO Zone maintains consistency in evaluation, diagnostic analysis, recommendations, presentations, disclosures, closing, and delivery.

What Growth Partners should avoid

  • Promising that a prospect will qualify or become a client
  • Quoting unapproved pricing or compensation information
  • Guaranteeing leads, sales, savings, revenue, or funding
  • Recommending technology as though they represent the delivery team
  • Providing technical installation or customer support
